Signs that you are Pinoy :P

1. You were punished by kneeling on rice, mongo or rock salt.

2.  You keep used batteries.

3. You say “cutex” instead of nail polish.

4. You’re lampshades still have plastic covers on them.

5. You “open” and “close” the lights instead of turning it on or off.

6. you know someone with the name that repeat itself. i.e. jon-jon, lenlen, becbec, bing-bing.

7. The Christmas season begins in September and ends in January.

8. CHurch is a must on Sundays.

9. A meal is not a meal without rice.

10. you can squeeze 15 passenger into your 5- seater car.

11. Your living room wall is filled with framed diplomas and plaques of family members.

12. You have an auntie girlie, lola baby or uncle boy.

13. Your mom puts sugar and hot dogs in her spaghetti.

14. you have a fly swatter in your kitchen.

15. your microwave, tv, computer, printer and toasters are hidden under quilted covers.

16. you use an umbrella for a shade in hot summer days.

17. your other piece of luggage is a Balikbayan  Box.

18. You have a portrait of the “Last Supper” hanging in your wall.

19. You have a rosary in your car review mirror.

20. Your parents call each other mommy and daddy.

21. You own either a karaoke or a magic sing mic or both.

22. You wash and reuse plastic utensils and styrofoam cups.

23. You use fingers to measure  the water when cooking rice.

24. You collect items from hotels or restaurants as “souveniers”.

25. You point with your lips.

26. You know its fun to eat with your hands and even have it down as a technique.

27. you have a giant wooden spoon and fork.

28. Your sala sets are covered with bed sheets.

29. you use print rags from imported fashion  magazines as cover of your texbooks and notebooks.

30. and not but not the least, You are pinoy if you have a “tabo” in your bathroom
